New Soul is an experiment of sorts intertwining the sonic ideologies of a young 15-16 year old musician eager to explore the musical instinct and vision of four artists, three of whom are musical mentors for Connor.
There are two original tracks written by Connor. The other seven songs are blues classics written by the likes of Mickinley Morganfield, Mississippi Fred McDowell, and Sonny Boy Williamson among others, all covered with the finesse and attitude of a blues band that has been touring and recording together for years.
